1995, Oct: At the outskirts of Kasaragod, there is a gateway for Computer Science Engineering Department. Similar to default gateway of New Age laptops ๐, we go out of the college through gates of LBSCE . You might be wondering why we are so interested in going out of college ๐ ๐. Donโt misunderstand it is reverse engineering , coz going out of the engineering is reverse engineering ๐ .
.
1996, Nov: The Bill gates released the windows to Computer Engineering classrooms. Our campus Buildings looks like Atanasoff-Berry computer of year 1937, the connecting roads are like the vacuum tubes of the ABC. We dash through these vacuum tubes to reach the cafeteria โ๐ช๐ฆ๐. The attendance at cafeteria was very high so professors send the attendance register to cafeteria, just joking ๐.
1996, Dec: Our Computer Programming Lab was located in our beautiful Admin Building. We started Pascal in December, we only hear Police using similar language ๐ ๐ before.
Our Milestoneโฆ.. Project Awarded !!!
1998: Years pass byโฆ We got approval from Computer science department for our project. The real motive behind our project was very funny, our eyes opened seeing many standing in sunny days ๐ฅ๐ซ๐ to get it, you donโt get it we know.. Wait and see!!!,,โฆ. just December LAB (the clue) .. the code is 007 ๐ซ .
1998 April : The second April in this post . After hours of programming in the Lab we used to go to hostel in the college bus . Many April jokes happened during the bus journey , Once โฆ
1998 July: The Computer Lab which we started our project. The attendance register was full because of our check-ins. The second most crowded than cafeteria, many come coz of A/C ๐๐. Many learn programming due to cool situation, but very hot for computers due to foolish programs made them ๐ก.
Computerโs ๐ฅ๐ฅused to wonder how I can process it. I think IBM later launched Thinkpad ๐ป out of this inspiration.
Flash back : Move the camera & action , โฆ1997 a day in front of Kasaragod cinema theatreโฆ.๐ญ๐ญ
1997 A Flash back : We used to see movies at Kasaragod Theater which was the primary drive for our Project . We are now disclosing the truth here . On a hit movie we havenโt got ticket for the first day shows , so our observation ๐ญ๐ญ was on the people standing in sun for buying tickets . Many was pouring water on their heads. This really touched our heart ๐๐ and wanted to avoid such toils. We discussed what we can do and it developed the seeds of our project in mind .. Now I think you got (the clue) Just December that . Charles Babbage developed the computers which was the cause of our CSE , I doubt he too had a cinema dream
Our codeโs Final release
1998 December: Finally we got signoff for the project work!!!! . Our hardwork for Online Movie platform โCine-veettil-movie-kaanam.comโ. Your waiting is over, we revealed it, the secret Kasaragod project. The code was in Pascal, later we discovered the police developed the Pascal ๐๐๐๐. Everyone can now get a ticket without standing in the Sun ๐โ๐.
